Identify the Department

Attach the fee of ₹10. This can be paid via Court Fee Stamp, Demand Draft, Indian Postal Order, or online gateway.
Tip: For BPL (Below Poverty Line) cardholders, the fee is completely free.

Submit to Public Information Officer (PIO)
Send the application by registered post or speed post, or hand it over directly to the department's PIO.
Tip: Always keep a photocopy of the application and the postal receipt for tracking.
